Mishawaka Heritage Festival Fireworks 2017
This year I rented a lens from BorrowLenses.com for my fireworks photography. It was a 24-105L IS Canon (first generation of the EF). For $60 for the weekend, I was reasonably impressed with the lens. I’m a little out of practice. Normally I have several opportunities to photograph fireworks but this year my schedule wasn’t allowing any in-depth photography. But here are a few photos I snapped. I was in my normal location — a perfect vantage point to shoot across the river to capture them. Not sure where they will shoot them off next year as I believe they are planning some construction in that area.
The fireworks capped off my city’s third heritage festival.
